ITI Introduces Super-Wide “Dual Production” TX3200 Direct-to-Fabric or Transfer Paper Sublimation Printer

Wednesday, September 07, 2016

Press release from the issuing company

Inkjet Technology, Inc. (ITI) is introducing their latest super-wide “Dual Production mode” sublimation printer– the TX3200.

The new “Dual Production” 3.2 meter TX3200 textile printer now has the capability to print directly on textile fabrics AND handle dye-sub transfer paper applications.  ITI has developed this model with an internal vacuum mechanism to securely hold down the transfer paper, especially thin paper, to prevent cockling. Plus it comes with an ink collection gutter assembly to handle polyester or mesh-type textiles used in direct printing methods.

ITI has also developed a specially formulated ink with our OEM ink vendor to handle the “Dual Production” mode so that the ink properties are similar to disperse dyes for direct printing and a dye sublimation ink for transfer paper printing.  This will benefit many textile shops that want the performance of both types of textile printing without the expense of buying two different printers.

The ITI TX3200 Textile Printer can be configured with an optional infrared heat transfer sublimation unit allowing users to directly sublimate the textile media exiting the printer without the need for a separate calendar press unit in direct textile printing applications.

ITI offers the TX3200 printer with the latest Ricoh GEN 5 print head technology for reliability, speed and performance imaging. Available in a 4 or 8 print head configuration, the TX3200 offers production print speeds up to 1,000 sq.ft./hr (in the 8 print head configuration).

The TX3200 is equipped with a high volume, 5-liter bulk ink delivery system. The advanced media roller design, that eliminates traditional pinch rollers, ensures accurate media tracking and fabric/paper handling through any print cycle.

Paul McGovern, ITI Director of Marketing & Business Development, states, “The TX3200 will set the standard now for a “Dual Mode” production textile printer that is designed for the large textile print shop requiring around-the-clock, wide width, heavy-duty capacity workflow. It is ideal for the high quality production of exhibition graphics and banners, along with commercial and home furnishing textiles.”

Be sure to visit our booth #3607 at this year’s SGIA Expo, Sept 14-16 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, as we demonstrate the performance and flexibility of the TX3200 “dual production” sublimation printer.
