Groundbreaking State of the In-Plant Industry Findings Presented at Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

KEARNEY, MO - The In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) is happy to announce that the details for Dr. Joe Webb’s presentation of the final report on The State of the Industry: Outlook, Challenges, and Opportunities survey have been confirmed. After much news about this groundbreaking presentation, IPMA kindly invites Graph Expo attendees to join Webb’s presentation Monday, Sept. 26 from 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. during a special IPMA luncheon.

The State of the Industry: Outlook, Challenges, and Opportunities survey, which is generously sponsored by Canon U.S.A., Inc., assessed the current state of the graphic communications industry and what lays ahead by asking participants a series of questions concerning existing and emerging trends. The responses gathered from the survey will be used to recommend changes, highlight promising business opportunities to leverage, and provide cutting-edge strategies, tools, and resources. Webb will also be offering a special preview of the report in Canon U.S.A., Inc.'s booth at Graph Expo on Sunday, Sept. 25.

When asked about his research, Dr. Webb said, “Well-managed in-plant departments enhance their host organization's flow of internal and external communications. Whether they're part of the campus life of a major university, the operations of a government agency, the outreach of a non-profit organization, or in the back offices of a multinational corporation, their roles are being re-defined in today's dynamic media environment. That challenge is being met by offering new kinds of services and products, combined with insightful internal marketing and promotion, and proactive internal relationships. These actions cultivate a perception of reliability and creativity that ensures their departments are considered vital to their organizations. This study will assist departments to define the right roadmap for relevance that's appropriate in their organizations.”

Graph Expo attendees who are interested in attending IPMA’s luncheon and Dr. Webb’s final report are encouraged to register by visiting ilink.me/Luncheon. The luncheon registration is free and open to all guests at Graph Expo.
