Bristol, UK - Kent, UK-based Wallace Print has recently installed a window graphic at Drakes Plumbing Supplies, printed on Drytac’s ViziPrint® Impress Clear UV film.
Drakes wanted a window graphic for an internal partitioning wall window and had some specific requirements: the company wanted a window graphic what would display all the brands it works with in full colour, yet the material needed to allow the rest of the window to remain optically clear. The final requirement was that the window graphic must be easy to fit.
Leading large format digital and screen printer, Wallace Print, recommended Drytac’s ViziPrint Impress Clear UV film for the installation as it met all the requirements set out by Drakes.
Chris Payne from Wallace Print explains: “ViziPrint Impress Clear UV film is ideal for self-adhesive applications on glass and other smooth, flat surfaces and – with Drytac’s proprietary adhesion technology – it is super easy to install. It has been specifically designed for the trouble-free, dry installation of graphics.”
The 100 micron printable, ultra-clear PET film is compatible with UV and latex printers. ViziPrint Impress Clear UV film is PVC-free, 100% recyclable, and resistant to both wear and tear and water. It is very easy to apply and remove and can be repositioned and re-applied multiple times, leaving no residue.
Wallace Print designed and printed the window graphic in-house on its UV flatbed digital printer. The printed graphic was backed up with white ink to make the logos stand out with added vibrancy.
Tom Taylor, Head of Marketing at Drakes, concludes: “The new window graphic is next to the entrance corridor. It really makes the walkway come to life and hits the customer with the key brands we supply.
“The best thing is that there’s still plenty of optically clear space within the graphic, so customers and staff can still see each other through the window. It was also incredibly easy to apply.”
