American Forest & Paper Association Releases July 2016 Containerboard Report

WASHINGTON - The American Forest & Paper Association released its July 2016 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report on August 16.

Containerboard production was 0.7 percent lower compared to July 2015. The month-over-month average daily production compared to June 2016 was 0.3 percent higher. The containerboard operating rate for July decreased to 93.9 percent, while the year-to-date operating rate of 94.4 percent was 1.7 percentage points lower compared to year-to-date 2015.
