Oak Creek, Wisconsin June 12, 2002: Northwest Coatings is pleased to acknowledge that they are receiving an increase in inquiries for UV PSA’s and UV Release Coatings for the construction of expanded content/booklet labels. As the leader of UV adhesive and coating technology for narrow web flexo applications, Northwest Coatings has been instrumental in providing label converters with the capability to print and convert expanded content/booklet labels in-line. Both the UV PSA’s and UV Release Coatings can be pattern applied to achieve the desired construction. As well as creating a permanent hinge, various types of seal and re-seal properties can be created. Both the UV PSA’s and UV Release Coatings are one-part systems that can be designed to run with various substrates. Northwest Coatings manufactures UV/EB curable and water base coatings and adhesives for the printing and converting markets, as well as other industrial applications.
