Press release from the issuing company
Minneapolis - In October of 2015, Flexographic Tech opened as a Minnesota not-for-profit Corporation with the mission to teach flexographic press operations through hands-on training. Since opening, seven graduates from our 12-week training program have been certified and are now fulltime press operators, running equipment ranging from a Webtron 750’s to Mark Andy P-Series.
Flexographic Tech started its third 12-week press operator training program on June 6th, to train another four operators to have careers as pressmen in the Flexographic industry. Outside of these seven graduates, Flexographic Tech has educated an additional 20+ people on the basics of Flexography during two 3-day Flexo 101 classes.
With help from our industry partners, Flexo Tech is able to offer a top-of-the-line education to our students. We would like to extend our thanks to these sponsors:
Green Bay Packaging—Platinum
AWT Labels and Packaging—Platinum
Harper Corporation of America—Bronze
All of these companies realize the value and need for a flexographic educational institution in the Midwest and have supported the training initiative with generous donations.
