Heart wins Supreme Public Preference Award at third Lenstar® Lenticular Print Awards

Dun Laoghaire , Ireland – The judges’ minds, as well as hearts, were won over by contemporary Russian artist Olga Tobreluts, in the third edition of the Lenstar® Lenticular Print Awards .

Her work, Heart was transformed from 2D to 3D by Egor Korotkov and printed by MagicVision.RU. It won the 2016 Artistic Lenticular Award and also proved to be the favourite among drupa 2016 visitors, to gain the Supreme Public Preference Award .

Evgeniy Ogorodnikov from Magic Vision.RU says: “On behalf of the Magic Vision team, we would like to thank the organisers of the Lenstar® Lenticular Print Awards , the jury, and the visitors who voted for our "Heart" image as well as all the other participants with whom we had the honor to compete with. We are delighted with winning this award and would like to thank DP Lenticular for helping to increase the popularity of 3D lenticular printing in the world as well as giving us the opportunity to show the high standards of this great printing technique. We hope to amaze again next time.”

The awards were staged by drupa innovation park, DP Lenticular, Pacur and Heidelberg. Celebrating creativity across all elements in the sector, they were held during drupa 2016, in Messe Düsseldorf.

In 2016, drupa was reduced to 11 days but we are very pleased that a total of 16,662  votes were recorded. This is an outstanding number and shows the interest of the visitors for the “Wall of Fame” showing the Lenstar Lenticular Print Award images.
