2016 Premier Print Award Winners Announced

Press release from the issuing company

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Printing Industries of America is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2016 Premier Print Awards, the world’s most prestigious international print competition. Nearly 3,000 entries were submitted for the extensive judging session held at the Printing Industries of America headquarters in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. The judges chose to honor a total of 1,296 pieces with one of three awards—92 Best of Category awards, 355 Awards of Recognition, and 846 Certificates of Merit. While there are a wide variety of categories in the printing and postpress areas, only the highest-quality pieces are awarded. “We were astounded by the quality of entries this year,” noted Michael Makin, President and CEO of Printing Industries of America.  “The creativity, design and innovation displayed made the competition extremely difficult to judge because there were so many spectacular submissions. We encourage industry execs to visit the PIA booth at Graph Expo, where many of the winning pieces will be on prominent display.”  Congratulations to all the winners!

All Benny-winning pieces will be featured in a full-color publication distributed to 10,000 print buyers, as well as recognized in front of hundreds of industry executives at the Premier Print Awards Gala, held in conjunction with GRAPH EXPO 16 on Sunday, September 25 at the Hilton Orlando. The Best in Show will also be revealed during the Awards Gala.
