Tecco supports Inkjet DryLab Users with Special Media

Press release from the issuing company

Iridium Silver Gloss and Silk Raster for Epson´s SureLab D700

Bergisch Gladbach/Germany - Tecco takes account of technological changes and expands its product range with dry lab media. In time for the printing season Tecco supports the new inkjet printer Epson SureLab D700 and offers Mirage users a media package for their drylab papers in the range of portrait photography.

Tecco expects the new ink jet printer Epson Surelab D700 to revolutionize the market: Chemical minilabs and thermo sublimation systems will be replaced in the long run.

Arnoud Mekenkamp, Managing Director at Tecco, gives reasons for the prediction: “The media variety plays an important role in this area. Therefore we offer next to the two standard papers glossy and luster also the special media: raster, heavy luster, self-adhesive satin and matt paper.“

Advantages of the new technology and media

“Tecco´s raster papers address portrait photographers, the iridium gloss is a kind of effect paper,“ says Mekenkamp. "Both papers were very popular in the analogue period. The inks of the Epson printer ensure that the new digital inkjet media cannot be be distinguished from the old analogue media – and even better: they enable a higher color saturation and therefore a larger color gamut than analogue media,“ Mekenkamp concludes.

Kindergarten and school photographers now can use a self-adhesive satin paper. This paper simplifies the production of the popular sticker photos.

The luster, gloss, raster and matt media (250g) is available in 4, 5, 6, 8 inch and 21cm width, the iridium paper (250g) is available in 6 inch and 21cm width.

The availability of the width of 21cm for all paper types always enables printing in DIN A4 and also in the popular format DIN long (e.g. for greeting and invitation cards).
