HELSINKI, Finland, June 5 -- Stora Enso today announced that John Bergin, Senior Vice President, Speciality Papers Business Group (Packaging Board Division) has been invited to join Stora Enso's Management Group. Bergin will also become a member of Stora Enso North America's Executive Management Group. Bergin joined Consolidated Papers, Inc. in 1968 as a production engineer at the Stevens Point Mill. His career includes advancing positions at the Whiting Mill, Wisconsin Rapids Paper Mill and Research & Development facility. Following Stora Enso's acquisition of Consolidated in 2000, Bergin was appointed Vice President Specialty/Coated Papers at the Stevens Point Mill. In 2001, he advanced to his current position. The Speciality Papers Business Group features three essential product areas: technical papers, flexible packaging papers, and label papers. Stora Enso North America is a Division of Stora Enso Oyj. The Division is North America's leading producer of coated and supercalendered printing papers for the printing and publishing industries.
