Monday, June 13, 2016

Press release from the issuing company

A whole new world of inline print finishes met visitors to the Manroland Sheetfed GmbH stand at drupa 2016.

When visitors stepped onto the Manroland Sheetfed GmbH stand 14-C21 at drupa 2016, they weren't just viewing the highly advanced ROLAND 700 EVOLUTION, they witnessed a whole new world of print possibilities

Seeing (and feeling) is believing

Available on the stand were posters of print jobs printed on the ROLAND 700 EVOLUTION one of the few exhibitors to release real-time samples, bringing to mind the old adage ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’. Manroland Sheetfed exhibited print previously unimaginable, creating vivid, living output that reached out to visibly move even the most seasoned visitors to the exhibition.

The crisp detail and sheen of a gleaming motorcycle, brought alive through Inline foiling - the soft glow of a woman's skin via TwinEffect contrasts against pure, precision blackness achieved through LED UV drying technology - a textured cosmetic box to touch and feel brought to life with InlineImpress.

InfoStations

The company also featured seven iPad controlled "InfoStations" presenting a comprehensive overview of the company, its products and services.

The InfoStations provided detailed information on all ROLAND models including the featured 8-color ROLAND 700 EVOLUTION double coating with UV, InlineNumbering, InflineFoiler, InlineInspector 2.0 and LED UV drying technology, together with the ROLAND 900 XXL Perfector, the world’s largest perfecting printing press.
