Artotec invests again in packaging printing with First Rapida 145 for Pakistan

Press release from the issuing company

Six years ago Artotec was the first company in Pakistan to order a brand-new sheetfed offset press from KBA. In 2010 the packaging printer installed a six-colour Rapida 105 with coater. It was the company’s only printing press until now. A high level of technical availability is therefore necessary. The Rapida 105 runs reliably every day without any downtime.

Artotec’s management ordered another press from KBA-Sheetfed at Drupa given their positive experience and great satisfaction with their installed Rapida 105. The printing company in Karachi can now enter the field of large-format printing with a six-colour Rapida 145 plus coater and DriveTronic SIS sidelay infeed. This investment was urgently necessary to boost packaging production and increase output. This naturally also means that the company is investing in new prepress and postpress technology.

About 100 employees at Artotec produce packaging for food, cosmetics, the textile industry and many other segments. The company in Pakistan is on a continual growth curve and is certified in accordance with ISO 9001-2008.
