Elanders Boosts Commercial Printing Power with Cross-portfolio HP Digital Press Purchase

Advanced HP Indigo and PageWide Web Presses offer company next-level productivity and quality for unique brand campaigns

DÜSSELDORF, Germany, - Today at drupa 2016, HP announced that Elanders Group, a global supplier of integrated supply chain management, print and packaging and e-commerce solutions, invested in HP Indigo and PageWide Web Presses to strengthen its commercial printing capabilities to deliver complex, worldwide jobs with enhanced quality and productivity.

Building on its long-standing relationship with HP, Elanders is investing in two HP Indigo 7900 Digital Presses, two HP Indigo 12000 Digital Presses and an HP PageWide Web Press T240 HD. The new HP Indigo digital presses will enable Elanders to provide automotive and consumer electronics brands unique, high-quality variable data-driven campaigns with faster time to market. Elanders will leverage the HP PageWide Web Press T240 HD to increase efficiency and reclaim revenues, shifting more jobs from analog to digital. Installations will begin in the July 2016 at Elanders facilities in Sweden and Germany.

Elanders has been in high-end digital production since its investment in an HP Indigo UltraStream 2000 in 1999 and has experienced tremendous success, motivating its decision to continue its digital printing pursuit. The company's massive investment in HP Indigo and PageWide Web Press solutions at drupa 2016 reinforces its commitment to digital printing.

HP Financial Services helped Elanders develop a flexible investment strategy to acquire the HP technology they required on terms that work for their business(1). The deal was facilitated by HP channel partner Visutech.

The new 2016 HP Indigo portfolio, including HP Indigo 7900, 10000 and 12000 Digital Presses, is showcased in HP Hall 17 at drupa, May 31 –  June 10 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
