New at Drupa 2016 - ITL's MidZero curing solution for wide-format graphics printing.

The world's largest product portfolio of high-performance UV lamp and UV LED systems is unveiled on Stand B10 in Hall 2 at Drupa, the print and cross-media event held in Düsseldorf, Germany this week (May 31^st - June 10^th 2016.)

The stand is hosted by IST METZ GmbH and British subsidiary, Integration Technology Ltd (ITL), with ISTMETZ providing systems for sheet-fed and web printing, as well as for bonding and other industrial applications, while ITL supplements the range with high-performance UV systems in smaller working widths for digital printing and suitable industrial applications.

Brand new at the show will be ITL's MidZero LED UV LED curing system, a cost-efficient, high-performing air cooled solution targeted at the wide-format graphics and direct-to-product digital industrial markets.

With its lamp units mounted end to end, the new MidZero can be scaled to any required length with peak intensity of over 4W/cm² while delivering an unbeatable class-leading dose that outperforms similar products with much higher indicated peak intensities.

Also ideal for single pass industrial inter-colour curing or high speed pinning where lamp heads do not need to be mounted directly next to a print head, this highly flexible system offers both digital or analogue control as standard. Its RS485 control is capable of driving up to two 240mm versions, greatly reducing the cabling needed.

This system can also be purchased as component parts, enabling greater local integration and value added for the OEM client.

Available for niche applications is the smaller MidZero 040. Particularly useful where space and form factor can be challenging, its compact and lightweight architecture specifically matches the requirements of small X/Y direct-to-product printers as well as other emerging technologies.

The new MidZero LED joins a broad programme of ITL UV LED products on display at Drupa, all recently upgraded in terms of performance and efficiency, alongside traditional arc lamp curing solutions.

These include the company's SubZero arc family, the world's most popular solution for wide-format printing with in excess of 24,000 units installed globally, Pincure and Pincure 2 , SubZero LED, VZero LED air cooled solutions, and the ultra-powerful water cooled Solidcure 2 family of LED units.
