Warrendale, PA - The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) is pleased to announce that a new scholarship has been funded by Alcom Printing Group, Inc. The Alcom Printing Group Scholarship endowment will be funded at the Print Heritage endowment level of $25,000. The scholarship is being established by Alcom in recognition of the 60^th anniversary year of PGSF.

“Alcom operates our business with a mindset of ‘Yes is the answer, Now What’s the Question?’ states Chief Operations Officer Doug Yeager.  “We have a number of team members with print and graphics degrees working in various roles within our company and we felt a need to find a way to give more students the opportunity of a solid education in our industry. We couldn’t think of a better way than to create a PGSF scholarship in Alcom’s name to celebrate the diamond anniversary of the Foundation.”

Yeager further stated his enthusiasm for education in the graphic arts by remembering that he had received a PGSF scholarship while attending Rochester Institute of Technology.  “Without the funding provided by PGSF and other scholarship funds, I would not have been able to afford to further my education and to achieve the things I have realized to this point in my career.”

The Alcom Printing Group Scholarship will provide young students who are pursuing a course of study in the graphic arts with the opportunity to enhance their education. This is an important way to invest in the future workforce of the industry.
