Press release from the issuing company

SANTA ANA, California — Markzware, leading developer of print, publishing and file conversion software, announces a new Q2ID® version. This popular Adobe InDesign plugin now has QuarkXPress 2016 (also known as QXP v12) support. Q2ID is available for Mac and Windows platforms for InDesign CC 2015, 2014, CC, CS6, CS5.5 and CS5.

Q2ID (Quark to InDesign) is an InDesign plugin that allows you to convert QuarkXPress documents to Adobe InDesign. This affordable software for document conversion enables you to open QuarkXPress files within a new InDesign (INDD) document, without rebuilding the QXP document from scratch. File conversion with Q2ID gives you a quick, easy way to import QuarkXPress content into InDesign, allowing the workflow to move forward.

"I am extremely impressed by the Markzware Quark to InDesign converter. On my first converted project, a CD package consisting of three Quark files: a 8 panel CD booklet, traycard and discface, I had only a few kernings to do to eliminate two hyphens that occurred during the conversion. All other text and artwork stayed in their exact locations and formats as per my Quark file before the conversion process. Wow!" said Q2ID user, Jack Frisch.
