New partnership will focus on Mark Andy presses for the Peruvian region

St. Louis, Missouri - Mark Andy has teamed up with South American based Quimica Anders as its new representative for Mark Andy presses in the Peruvian market.

Founded in 1964, Quimica Anders is a specialty chemicals distributor which has been serving the Latin American region for more than half a century. The company facilitates sales in 10 countries, and its global headquarters in Lima gives it a strong presence and solid understanding of local markets.

Comprised of multiple business units, each with its own commercial and service team, Quimica Anders has already been supporting area converters in the coatings, inks & adhesives and plastics & packaging markets, making it a good fit to extend into the Mark Andy product line. The Peruvian-based distributor believes that its new partnership with Mark Andy will benefit not just the company, but area converters as well.

Horst Eichhorn, business unit manager, packaging & conversion, at Quimica Anders commented on the partnership saying, “Mark Andy is an ideal supplier to improve and complete our product portfolio of consumable and peripheral equipment for the narrow web market.”

“From our coatings, inks and adhesives business unit we can get very good and helpful information to support technically our printing customers,” added Eichhorn, “There are many synergies we can use to give our printing customers an added value on our support.”

Mark Andy believes that Quimica Anders’ extensive experience in the region and their dedicated business unit team will provide consumers with excellent customer support on the existing and future Mark Andy install base.

Mark Andy’s director of Latin American sales John Cavey said, “Quimica Anders has an excellent track record of supporting customers on all of their products, and we look forward to partnering with them to extend this same support to the local Mark Andy installations.”

“We believe joining forces with Quimica Anders gives us the best possibility of achieving further success in Peru,” stated Cavey, “Their knowledge and connections within the region make them an ideal partner.”

Quimica Anders will represent, distribute, and support Mark Andy presses in the Peru region, marking yet another addition to Mark Andy’s robust international sales and support network.
