Taopix Announces HP PrintOS Collaboration

Press release from the issuing company

Newcastle upon Tyne, UK - Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom – Software developer, Taopix, announces its commitment to the HP PrintOS cloud-based operating  system for print businesses.

HP Indigo, PageWide Web Press, Scitex and Latex customers who are looking to sell personalised photo products will be able to fully integrate with the HP PrintOS Site Flow application. Site Flow combines automated order submission, pre-press and shop-floor management capabilities to address the needs of PSPs serving the B2C and B2B2C markets.

The Taopix platform will pass print-ready files to Site Flow that will then assign a product plan to every job. The jobs are managed in batches to increase efficiency and speed at the printing and finishing stages. Site Flow also handles automatic barcode insertion and job prioritisation.

End users can also track the status of their order through their Taopix user account that is dynamically updated by the HP PrintOS system.

James Gray, Taopix CEO, said “We’re very excited to be part of this new innovation and to be working closer with HP and its customers. We have many shared customers across the globe who will embrace this technology in order to automate and optimise their production.”

“Customers are continually seeking ways to streamline production, and we are very happy to continue the successful cooperation with Taopix – now also around HP PrintOS Site Flow – to help our customers increase efficiency,” said Gershon Alon, global manager, Workflow Solutions and Partner Program, Indigo division, HP. “The combination of Taopix advanced personalized photo gifts and the new HP PrintOS Site Flow production management application brings a powerful off-the-shelf offering for HP customers that currently serve the B2C or B2B2C markets or want to expand into them.”
