Warrendale, Pennsylvania - Printing Industries of America is sending out a last call for entries to the 2016 Premier Print Awards Competition. Printers, prepress, and postpress companies of all kinds are invited to submit top-quality entries to the 2016 Premier Print Awards Competition. This prestigious international competition honors the top printers in the industry for their stellar printing capabilities. The final deadline for the competition is Wednesday, May 25.

With more than 100 categories recognizing every segment of the printing industry, the competition features categories for binders, magazines, posters, packaging and labels, innovation, green printing, digital printing, and more. This year, the Premier Print Awards competition also updated five of their categories to highlight the postpress industry. 

“I’ve heard many people refer to the Premier Print Awards as the ‘Oscars of the Industry,’ and that couldn’t be more true. Every year, I am impressed by the quality of work that is entered into the competition. And this year, the competition is looking pretty steep,” said Michael Makin, President and CEO, Printing Industries of America.

All entrants of the Premier Print Awards are competing to be awarded the Best of Category, or “Benny” Award, for their flawless craftsmanship. For more than sixty years, the Benny has become a universally recognized symbol for excellence in the printing industry. Entries can also receive an Award of Recognition or a Certificate of Merit. Those who receive one or more of these honors benefit from wide-spread industry recognition.
