Jeco Plastic Products Hosts U.S. Senator Dan Coats

Press release from the issuing company

Plainfield, Indiana, USAJeco Plastic Products--designer and manufacturer of plastic pallets and containers for the worldwide printing and automotive industries since 1973--recently hosted U.S. Senator Dan Coats for a tour of the Jeco facilities.  Coats--one of two United States senators from Indiana--visited Jeco on May 2 as part of an ongoing program to learn how Indiana businesses are affected by legislation and regulation.  Coats chairs the Congressional Joint Economic Committee and was particularly interested in how small businesses like Jeco are affected by Congressional activities.  Because many Jeco products are exported around the world, Senator Coats took special note of the problems faced by smaller businesses attempting to navigate the myriad regulations involved.

Commenting about the event, Jeco CEO Craig Carson said: "Jeco Plastic Products is honored to have been visited by Senator Coats to learn about our technology and its role in the global manufacturing process.  We are grateful for the opportunity Jeco staff and production employees had to show our rotational molding and thermoforming capability to one of our nation's leaders."
