RENZ Promotes Automation at drupa

Press release from the issuing company

Driven by the motto “inspire”, Renz the world-market leader and innovator in the field of wire comb and spiral binding presents exciting new systems around punching and binding at this year’s drupa. The focus is on intelligent, high-performing and efficient solutions to increase competitiveness.

Renz are putting a special focus on processing small to medium-sized volumes. This sector of the market is traditionally served by manual or partially automated punching systems. This however doesn’t necessarily suit the increasing requirement for production times to become shorter.

For this important market sector Renz has specifically developed the automatic punch AP 300 Compact.

With a high infeed pile capacity of up to 4,000 sheets in combination with an unattended production process, the AP 300 Compact increases both productivity and efficiency without incurring increased labour costs.

Additionally, Renz will present perfectly coordinated binding solutions with short set-up times such as the MOBI series of semi-automated binding machines for books and calendars. These machines fulfil the market requirement to produce books or calendars highly economically and profitably representing an attractive price performance ratio.

Renz is also excited to announce our formal global partnership with Canadian manufacturer Gateway Bookbinding Systems Ltd. The manufacturers of PLASTIKOIL® - Gateway will be on hand and demonstrating their plastic spiral binding solutions on the Renz booth.
