Signature Card Expands Digital Press Lineup

Press release from the issuing company

RICHARDSON, Texas – Signature Card announced that it has added an HP Indigo 7800 digital press to its lineup of printing equipment. Supporting unique media and special inks, the 4th generation of the Indigo 7000 series includes key new features, making it significantly more advanced from earlier HP models.

“The versatility of this press will greatly enhance our digital printing capabilities,” said Bill Hunter, president of Signature Card. “Advanced systems increase speed and productivity, and the sophisticated color automation ensures consistent, accurate color across a single job and over time.”

Designed to meet the most demanding production volumes, the 7800’s One Shot Color technology prints on synthetics, plastic cards and lenticular applications. All color separations are collected on the blanket and transferred to the substrate in a single pass for perfect registration. Coupled with the specialty techniques and textures already employed at Signature Card, the new ElectroInk Fluorescent Pink, Invisible Red and Digital Matte inks will add even more effects for distinctive customization of its products.

With a best-in-class color calibration method and an Optimizer that allows for simultaneous printing and proofing, the 7800 is also certified with the Intertek Green Leaf Mark, offering reduced production waste and energy efficiency through recycling of imaging oil.

This upgrade affirms Signature Card’s commitment to delivering clients top custom card solutions using industry-leading, high-quality print processes that provide unique looks, feel and textures for each brand.
