Kinko's Unfurls Sign/Banner Strategy, Partners with HP and Gerber Scientific

DALLAS, May 21 -- Kinko's, the world's leading provider of document solutions and business services, today unveiled its newest offering -- Kinko's Sign and Banner Centers.  The new centers extend Kinko's existing nationwide sign, poster and banner capabilities with a growing network of dedicated departments within existing Kinko's locations. At launch, Kinko's Sign and Banner Centers are open in more than 20 markets around the country, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and Los Angeles.  The company plans to open more than 200 centers serving all major U.S. markets by the end of 2002.  As a result, Kinko's digitally connected network will offer sign and banner customers the capacity, scalability, distribution, speed, and access not available from franchised, licensed or local competitors. "Kinko's document and business services solutions deliver against customer needs.  Kinko's Sign and Banner Centers provide customers with convenient access to top-quality sign and banner capabilities from a name they know and trust," said Gary Kusin, Kinko's president and chief executive officer.  "With the introduction of Kinko's Sign and Banner Centers, Kinko's has once again extended our range as a one-stop shop for business services and document solutions." Features include a range of state-of-the-art equipment for designing, plotting and printing a variety of vinyl, coroplast, PVC, aluminum and magnetic products.  Kinko's selected industry-leading manufacturers such as Hewlett-Packard Company and Gerber Scientific Products to equip the new centers with the latest machines and supplies.
