Mimaki USA announces organizational changes

New business planning division and U.S. regional structure created

Suwanee, GA – Mimaki USA, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, is pleased to announce the following organizational changes:

Mr. Yasuhiro Haba is now President, Mimaki USA and will be responsible for the leadership of Mimaki throughout the Americas. Mr. Haba previously served as Sales Division Deputy General Manager for Mimaki Engineering JP Division (Japan), and will relocate to the Mimaki USA Western region office. He succeeds Mr. Masaaki Fujita, who is now Senior Managing Director, Mimaki Engineering (Japan).

Mr. Ken VanHorn has been appointed Vice President, Marketing and Operations, Mimaki USA.

Mr. Naoya Kawagoshi remains Vice President, Sales, Mimaki USA covering the United States and Canada.

Mr. Koji Imoto remains Vice President, Export, Mimaki USA covering Mexico, the Caribbean and South America (with the exception of Brazil).

Mr. Shinsuke Oota has been appointed General Manager, Service, Americas.

A newly formed Mimaki USA Business Planning Division has been created, which will be responsible for sales and operations in the Americas. This division will be led jointly by Mr. Haba, Mr. Kawagoshi, Mr. VanHorn and Mr. Oota. 

Additionally, the U.S. sales group moves to a regional structure, with the following management:

Mr. Carmen Pacella, Western Region Manager – includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. The Western region office is located in Los Angeles (Torrance, CA).

Mr. Ross Esenberg, Midwest Region Manager, Chicago – includes Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The Midwest region office is located in Chicago (Schaumburg, IL).

Mr. Mike Trotter, Northeast Region Manager – includes Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. The Eastern Region office is located in Rockaway, NJ with a branch office in Boston (Auburndale, MA).

Mr. Scott Champeau, Southern Region Manager – includes Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and Tennessee. The Southern Region office is located in Atlanta (Suwanee, GA) with a branch office in Dallas (Irving, TX).
