Press release from the issuing company

Secure Printing of Documents Enhances Popular Legal Accounting Software NEW YORK---May 21, 2002--Electronics For Imaging and Equitrac Corporation today announced that Equitrac plans to integrate EFI's PrintMe Networks mobile printing solution with its industry leading Document Accounting Systems (DAS) software, enabling professional, commercial and public sectors to take advantage of PrintMe's remote printing capabilities. PrintMe enables secure document printing from any mobile device to any PrintMe-enabled printer or fax machine. For example in the legal profession, this would permit the secure printing of sensitive legal documents at locations outside the office as well as improve inter-office printing through PrintMe's Universal Print Driver. Equitrac systems are well established in its markets. For example, in the legal market, Equitrac systems can be found in more then 80% of the nation's top 250 law firms as well as thousands of smaller firms. DAS enables companies to optimize their document equipment usage, reduce costs, manage document security, and control waste by accurately tracking, allocating, and enabling recovery of the costs associated with copies, prints, faxes and other disbursements. In today's mobile work environment, with lawyers using a variety of mobile devices from PDAs to cell phones to portable PCs, Equitrac recognized the need to offer the same tracking, billing and security features away from the office as well as enabling remote printing of confidential documents. "We are excited to partner with EFI in bringing PrintMe's secure mobile document solution to the legal profession where confidentiality, accountability, and other document controls are imperative," said Steven D. Hammond, VP of Marketing, Equitrac Corporation. "In today's business environment, executives and managers are highly mobile. With PrintMe technology, Equitrac provides a completely integrated solution that allows executives and professionals the ability to print important documents while at remote locations. They will be able to print contracts, reports, presentations and other important documents quickly and safely to any PrintMe-enabled printer or to any fax machine and continue to track these documents through our DAS." "Equitrac has established a solid reputation for its technologically advanced Document Accounting Systems," said Ofer Tenenbaum, general manager of EFI's PrintMe Networks. "We are excited to work with them to incorporate PrintMe technology to enable attorneys to securely deliver and print legal documents any time and anywhere from their mobile devices.
