Colter & Peterson to exhibit automated Microcut systems and CHM precision sheeter at drupa

Press release from the issuing company

Paterson, NJ – Company representatives from Colter & Peterson Microsystems will be wearing their track shoes when drupa begins May 31. Five extremely popular Microcut® systems will be on display in Hall 11/Stand E25, and a CHM precision sheeter will be demonstrated with Shanghai Eureka Machinery in Hall 16/Stand A03.

Known as North America’s largest independent distributor of paper cutters and paper handling equipment, C&P has handled over 30,000 Microcut installations globally. Nearly every new and used paper cutter the company manufactures is equipped with a Microcut automated back gauge system. It boosts productivity by 50% or more by reducing make-ready time, performing highly accurate cuts within 1/64th of an inch for small, medium and large format size print operations.

At drupa, a POLAR 66” paper cutter with a Microcut retrofit system will be in the C&P stand. The

five affordable versions include Microcut COLOR WS, Microcut PLUS, Microcut JR, Microcut B-65 and Microtrack II. They are designed for use on any brand or size paper cutter between 20-150 inches. A display board will be featured, and B-65 components will simulate action with the help of a new H4 motor.

The CHM precision sheeter combines the best of European, North American and Asian technology to produce excellent quality. Highly versatile for most printers and converters, this machine cuts many types of paper and board. With touch screen controls for easy operation, the CHM precision sheeter is designed with a servo motor drive system for consistent and reliable performance.
