Minuteman Press in Vaughan purchases MOHR 80 ECO Paper Cutter from Sydney Stone

Press release from the issuing company

Minuteman Press in Vaughan has installed the new Mohr 80 ECO paper cutter. MOHR paper cutters are made in Germany by Adolf Mohr Maschinenfabrik GmbH the manufacturer of cutters known the world around as the world leader in designing and building durable and reliable machines for the graphic arts industry, with over 140,000 units manufactured.  The Mohr 80 ECO offers a 30.5” cutting width with fully adjustable hydraulic knife and clamp. Programming of the cutter is via the keypad which enables advanced math as well as push-out to ensure operator safety.

“We purchased the Mohr 80 ECO cutter as our older unit was falling into disrepair and was becoming both costly to service and making our finishing process slower than what we need in order to be efficient.”  Fred Lai Owner at Minuteman Press in Vaughan.

“The Mohr cutter line really is the world leader; we see great promise with this line of cutters as the digital sheet size expands and as the older cutters currently being used in production become a far less efficient way to finish product. Owners and operators will both gain with a new Mohr cutter by having dramatic reductions in wastage and cutting time while gaining a reliable and trustworthy cutting machine.” Says Michael Steele, Managing Director of Sydney Stone.
