Aleyant Announces Early Support for the HP PrintOS Cloud-Based Ecosystem

Press release from the issuing company

HP PrintOS job submission made easy with Pressero Web2Print

Wheaton IL. Aleyant, an innovative leader in providing robust software services to the graphic communications industry at value-driven prices, is pleased to announce it has been selected as an early partner in the HP PrintOS cloud-based ecosystem set to revolutionize the way print service providers buy and use print-related software solutions.

Announced by HP February 29, 2016, with scheduled availability at drupa 2016, PrintOS is an open, secure and integrated platform for print production management that is ideal for print service providers in all segments and of all sizes. Designed for use with HP Indigo, PageWide Web Press, Scitex and Latex digital printing technology, as well as connectivity with third-party output devices, PrintOS features a suite of intuitive web-based and mobile applications, including Aleyant’s Pressero™ web-to-print solution. Its goal is to simplify and automate print production, enabling customers to start printing jobs faster. Additionally, cloud connectivity allows customers to monitor print status remotely as well as track and improve production performance over time. The HP PrintOS model can also reduce capital investment requirements and is scalable based on business needs, with the ability to subscribe and unsubscribe to applications as necessary.

Aleyant web-to-print software will also integrate with PrintOS Box, an app within PrintOS that enables production automation by managing files captured from various sources, facilitating communication with print buyers and easily allowing users to submit jobs to production.

“We have been extremely pleased with our relationship with HP over the last few years,” said Greg Bane, Aleyant’s Channel Manager. “And we are very proud to be one of the early providers of third-party apps for this revolutionary new ecosystem. Pressero will act as a fully-integrated job submission mechanism for PrintOS Site Flow, with two-way integration that speeds orders through the process with no need to re-key information. The PrintOS strategy from HP falls in line with our passion for innovation, and we believe it is the way of the future for print production, including full mobile access for PrintOS components.”

“Third-party app providers like Aleyant are a critical element of PrintOS,” said Gershon Alon, Manager of Workflow Solutions at HP Indigo. “And web job submission is, of course, a very important part of the print production operating system.  We are delighted to have Aleyant on board with PrintOS and look forward to integration of more Aleyant apps as PrintOS evolves.”

Aleyant will be demonstrating its PrintOS integration at Aleyant’s drupa 2016 stand 70C08 in the drupa dip innovation park, May 31 through June 10 in Düsseldorf, as well as in HP’s dedicated Hall 17 presence. Aleyant will also be showcasing at drupa its entire suite of productivity offerings for print service providers.

“As we look ahead,” Bane added, “we will be seeking ways to add even more existing and new Aleyant apps to the HP PrintOS catalog, with the goal of helping print service providers operate more efficiently while also expanding our own visibility within the print service provider community.”
