Heidelberg Announces New Summer University

New program from the Print Media Academy begins in Heidelberg, Germany in August 2002 Kennesaw, GA, May 20, 2002 -- Heidelberg's Print Media Academy will be launching its first ever "Summer University" program in August 2002. This international program is aimed at owners and managers of printing companies and media businesses who have a desire for intensive training with a six-day course in Heidelberg. The seminar fees are $2,500 and do not cover travel and accommodation costs. The Summer University will focus on topics such as innovation management, marketing and sales, Human Resources, finance and new technologies - with particular emphasis on digital printing. The curriculum will be taught through lectures, presentations, workshops and self-learning modules. There will be plenty of opportunities for students to exchange information and discuss what they have learned. The international group will be taught in English by renowned lecturers from the world of business and the print and the media industry. Course size is limited to 25 people. The program also take in many cultural aspects. Students, for example, can tour the City of Heidelberg and the Rhine-Neckar region and visit the Heidelberg company . Visits to print shops and media businesses in Germany are also planned.
