3D Printing Conference Program Highlighted at UV+EB Technology Even

RadTech, the trade association for UV+EB Curing technology is hosting a full day conference dedicated to 3D printing at RadTech 2016, May 16, in Chicago, IL. The program will feature discussions on new materials, additives, and techniques.

A panel discussion at the RadTech 2016 features diverse perspectives on the latest advancements, including speakers from Autodesk, Made Solid, Colorado Photopolymer Solutions, Spectra Group, and Hollywood animation studio, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios. Vic Latour from Stoopid Buddy will discuss their use of UV curable 3D Printing materials and technology to create stop-motion animation characters for its television shows like “Super Mansion” and “Robot Chicken”.

“This conference happens only once every two years and a number of papers and presentations, as well as an exhibition throughout, offers an indispensable one stop resource for anyone interested in UV 3D printing,” says Dr. Mike Idacavage, Colorado Photopolymer Solutions, and Chair of the RadTech 3D Committee. “There is significant interest in UV 3-D Printing from industries including automotive, footwear, sporting goods and aerospace; this event promises to help propel technical and market advancements in this space.”
