Friday, March 04, 2016

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, IL – GPA, the market leader in substrate solutions for offset, digital, and wide format printing, announces that they have added ClingZ® Wide Format UV to their collection of media for wide format presses. Now, this popular product that GPA’s customers rely on in their offset and digital pressrooms can be used to create larger-than-life applications that adhere to nearly any surface without the use of adhesive.

This innovative material is popular in markets such as retail, hotel and hospitality, sports and entertainment, pharmaceutical, consumer goods and more. Because it is almost effortless to apply and remove, brand owners rely on it for temporary product promotions, window displays, trade show and conference signage, and seasonal décor. Temporary art installations are another creative use of this material, which can be tiled to create virtually seamless displays on a large scale. It is also dry erase marker compatible, opening up opportunities for interactive applications.

ClingZ® Wide Format UV is a unique, electrically charged polypropylene film that adheres to nearly any indoor surface, including glass, drywall, metal, wood, brick or marble. It was engineered to offer hassle-free installation and removal, making it simple for practically anyone to apply and position graphics that make a big impact, then remove them just as easily. Since ClingZ® film is a #5 recyclable product, it is great for customers looking to lessen their environmental impact.

GPA currently offers ClingZ® Wide Format UV in 54” x 150’ rolls, readily available in either a 2.3 mil white or 2.0 mil clear face film fully with a 3 mil film liner. It can be easily perforated, die cut, kiss cut, scored and folded for maximum application versatility. For short-term graphics that make a big impact, ClingZ® Wide Format UV is the media solution that lets print service providers create attention-getting applications their customers will love. To experience this new product in person, visit with GPA at GlobalShop 2016 in Las Vegas from March 23-25 at booth #4272, or Dscoop San Antonio from April 14-16 at booth #643.
