Peter Jacobson Selected 2016 MN Graphic Arts Industry Leader of the Year

Minneapolis – The Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) announces Peter Jacobson, CEO, Daily Printing, Plymouth, MN, has been selected the 2016 Minnesota Graphic Arts Industry Leader of the Year. Jacobson was selected by past recipients, and will receive the award at PIM’s annual Star of Excellence Awards Banquet on April 21, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.

Jacobson was selected to receive this award based on his extensive commitment and contributions to the industry, including over 12 years on the PIM Board of Directors and he is currently serving on the Printing Industries of America Board of Directors.

“Peter has been a leader in our industry for many years, and he is deserving of this prestigious award,” said David Radziej, PIM’s President & CEO. “On behalf of the Printing Industry Midwest members and staff, we thank Peter for his time, leadership and industry expertise.”

Jacobson has over 33 years of experience in the communications world. An Eagle Scout, and a graduate of Mankato State University, he has been a part of Daily Printing, Inc. since January of 1982, when he began as a sales representative. He is a board member and past chairman of the Printing Industry of the Midwest as well as a member of Mergent Communications, an alliance of seven independently-owned marketing and print service providers. With great pride in working for an ESOP company, Jacobson has the foresight and experience to give strategic solutions to his clients. He and his wife of 38 years, Lou Ann, enjoy spending time with their two adult children and three grandchildren.
