INX International to connect the dots with multi-dimensional Flexo inks at FTA Info*Flex

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, IL – Focusing on flexographic lamination inks that deliver exceptional results with a wide range of solvent-based, water-based, and solvent-less adhesive systems and low migration food packaging inks, INX International Ink Co. (booth 607) will exhibit four tried-and true products at next week’s FTA Info*Flex 2016. The event takes place March 7-8 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

“We have a great track record of developing flexographic inks that appeal to the Wide Web and Tag & Label segments of the marketplace,” commented Ron Deegan, Vice President of Sales North America, Liquid Ink Division of INX International Ink Co. “The four products we plan to exhibit at Info*Flex each have outstanding characteristics. Whether you are looking for inks with high performance, film adhesion or Low Migration attributes, we have what you need to complete any job and leave a lasting impression.”

INX International’s flexographic inks are second to none in the industry. Innova™ and ShrinkPac F™ are a pair of solvent inks that will be featured at Info*Flex 2016.

Innova is a high performance ink system geared for printers who are looking to improve printability, as well as lower their ink inventory levels. These universal lamination inks are designed to work with a variety of solvent-based, water-based and solvent-less adhesive systems. Printers can count on exceptional film adhesion and excellent bond, color strength and resolubility. Innova prints cleanly, with excellent heat and adhesive smear resistance and very low solvent retention levels.

ShrinkPac F is a premium process ink used for shrinkable film labels. Regarded by customers as a fast drying ink with superb printability at high speeds, it prints well at 1000 line aniloxes and provides excellent film adhesion to substrates such as shrinkable polyester, PVC and oriented polystyrene. Printers also give it very good marks for high strength, plus scratch and scuff and blocking resistance.

INXFlex™ UV CLM II Low Migration inks have attracted a loyal following for packaging printers dealing with the ever-changing regulations and guidelines associated with LM indirect food contact. These best-in-class, ITX-free premium UV curable inks take it to the next level with minimal plate swell for all plate making technologies involving flexographic printing.

Printers can expect good adhesion to a variety of substrates, ranging from Prime Label, metalized polyesters and films (PE, PP, OPP and Mylar), to SBS, clay and foil coated papers and boards, and even TYVEK. Beyond superior gloss and transparency, there are plenty of other benefits including maximum pigment load and low pourable viscosity.

Mylex™ II is a water-based lamination ink that gives printers plenty of options and outstanding stability at a wide range of print speeds. It works with solventless, water-based and UV adhesive systems, and produces superb printability up to 800 line aniloxes. Offering superior film adhesion and strength, Mylex inks possess excellent water resistance and lamination bond strength and very low VOC content.

INX International welcomes all Info*Flex visitors to stop by booth 607 to learn more about these and all other flexographic products. The company will have ink experts available to answer any questions.
