Case Paper Committed to Growth through Advancing Technologies

Press release from the issuing company

HARRISON, NY - Even as many of the paper and paperboard markets continue to contract, Case Paper Co. of Harrison, NY (casepaper.com) has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to growth through investment in state-of-the-art technologies.

Their latest equipment purchase—a Maxson MDH Dual Knife Rotary Sheeter—provides custom-sized web rolls and sheets of both paper and paperboard. With its ability to sheet up to four web rolls from 16”–81”, it can accommodate the needs of the digital, folio, and large-format markets.

The sheeter’s high-speed cutter is outfitted with a reject gate and a high-capacity stacker that uses a scissors lift-load table that can change out skids without having to stop production (it takes less than 60 seconds to remove a skid, insert an empty pallet, and raise the load table into position). Moreover, the use of air helps even light-weight paper remain jam-free when flowing into the stacker.

“This new sheeter will allow us to support even more customers that need sheets for both short and long-run jobs. It also improves our converting times, which is great news for printers and packaging companies that have to turn around a job quickly,” said Robin Schaffer, President and COO of Case Paper Co.

The fifth sheeter and the eighth converting equipment purchase over the past seven years, Case Paper is now one of the only paper and paperboard distributors in the industry that can quickly convert paper and paperboard and deliver the skids or rolls anywhere in the U.S., usually within 48 hours or less. Supported by a skilled workforce and a solutions-based management team, this latest purchase will help Case Paper to continue to provide excellent customer service, the highest quality sheet, and efficient turn-around times.
