‘My Philosophy Has Always Centered on Being Directly Involved With Customers’

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Larry D’Amico, who has contributed to the development and growth of wide-format digital imaging for more than 20 years, has joined Durst North America as the company’s Director of Sales.  D’Amico oversees all aspects of sales in the U.S. and Canada for Durst’s acclaimed lines of Rho large-format and Rhotex textile digital inkjet printers, as well as the company’s new Alpha Series of multi-pass textile printers.

For the last five years, D’Amico served as Vice President / Digital Imaging for Agfa Graphics, responsible for the company’s North American imaging equipment business.  His work history includes a similar role with the Pitman Co., as well as District Sales Manager with Linotype-Hell selling high-end pre-press scanners, image setters and systems.  A graduate of Bucknell University, D’Amico lives in New Jersey.

“We’re pleased that someone with Larry’s background, knowledge, talent and customer focus has joined our organization,” said Tim Saur, CEO of Durst North America.  “Larry will first focus on the Rho and Alpha line of products.  Then I expect him to expand his scope of responsibility to our additional market segments.”

“It’s been very exciting to join the Durst team and have the opportunity to work with the best equipment on the market,” D’Amico said.  “My philosophy has always centered on being directly involved with customers.  So I’m enjoying getting to know and working with Durst’s customers and helping them take their business to the next level.”
