DAX Lands More Funding, Beefs Up Executive Team

A new, expanded executive management structure is now in place. Meet Jean Grall, DAX Chairman and CEO... Jean Grall, a former managing director at Salomon Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch, has been appointed Chairman and CEO of DAX, and will be working closely with DAX COO Martijn van Steeg. A founding partner of CAPE Partners B.V., a private equity and venture capital firm with offices in Amsterdam and London, Grall has over 25 years of investment banking experience, primarily in the technology, telecommunications and media sectors, and is a member of the DAX Board of Directors. Grall's knowledge of these industries and his previous involvement with the company, coupled with the additional financing, will directly benefit DAX customers and members of PrintPlanet.com. "With the new funding commitment that we have received, this company is poised to fulfill our ambitions, further proving to our customers that DAX is the leading provider of managed Internet and application services for the graphic communications industry," said Grall.
