i-Sub Digital to show new Mimaki UJF-7151plus for first time in UK

Press release from the issuing company

Kettering UK - i-Sub Digital has announced that it will be showing the new Mimaki UJF-7151plus printer for the first time in the UK at the upcoming Packaging Innovations show. The event is scheduled to take place on 24th and 25th February 2016 at NEC Birmingham, and i-Sub Digital will be on Stand F61 throughout the two-day event.

The Mimaki UJF-7151 next generation direct-to-object flatbed LED UV printer has been developed to deliver on-demand printing of the very highest quality at industrial production levels of output. It uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver a powerful and reliable digital alternative to traditional screen print operations and is ideal for a wide gamut of applications.

Emma Plant, Sales Manager at i-Sub Digital’s explains: “The new Mimaki UJF-7151 printer is ideal for promotional print, packaging mock-ups and more; it is extremely versatile as it can print onto almost any product up to 153mm in depth.

“We believe that the new Mimaki UJF7151plus is the best UJF model to date. It’s bigger, better, faster with sharper image and lower ink costs, but that’s just part of the story. This latest UJF printer from Mimaki has been redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up for improved performance right across the board.”

Alongside the Mimaki UJF-7151plus printer, i-Sub Digital will be showcasing its exclusive Digi-Foil digital foiling/packaging proofing system. By combining a Mimaki UJF-3042HG or UJF-6042 Series UV printer with foil and a heated applicator, packaging proofs and short-run masterpieces featuring stunning foil effects can be achieved in minutes without the time and cost involved in preparing traditional dies and foil presses. For print houses specialising in packaging mock-ups, this can cut weeks or even months off project times as decisions based on colour-accurate prototypes can be made immediately.

Emma Plant concludes: “Our Digi-Foil print system, built on the latest Mimaki printing and cutting technology, has been creating quite a stir in the custom print and packaging arena. We very much look forward to demonstrating its potential to visitors at the upcoming Packaging Innovations event.”
