Canon Honored with 2016 A3 MFP Line of the Year, in Addition to Five Other Winter Pick Awards

MELVILLE, N.Y. – Continuing the success of 2015, Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, kicked off the New Year by announcing that Buyers Laboratory has honored Canon with multiple industry accolades, including 2016 A3 MFP Line of the Year award for the imageRUNNER ADVANCE series of multifunction systems. Additionally, Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C3325i, C350P and C250iF models along with the imageFORMULA DR-G1100 have been recognized with BLI Winter 2016 “Pick” awards.

Once a year, BLI honors Line of the Year awards to those vendors whose product lines are determined to be the best overall in their category, based on the collective test results of all models tested in BLI's comprehensive two-month laboratory evaluation. Selections for Pick awards are made by BLI's staff of technicians and editors after subjecting a number of devices from every major original equipment manufacturer to BLI's comprehensive lab tests in the last six months.

Outstanding 21 to 30-ppm A3 Color MFP: Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C3325i MFP

Designed for mid-sized to enterprise businesses, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350P color printer helps provide high-volume offices with impactful, vibrant color and sharp, well-defined images for business presentations and documents thanks to Canon's proprietary V2 Color profile. For improved integration within business workflow applications and mobile and cloud printing capabilities, this MFP supports Canon's MEAP and MEAP Web solutions platform. By incorporating the V2 Color profile, vibrant color and sharp, well-defined images can be produced. Used with the optional imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C250iF offers users an easy way to assemble and publish documents they create or receive at their PC or desktop. The MFP can also work with a variety of plug-ins from Canon’s imageWARE Enterprise Management Console and Canon MDS tools that allow for efficient fleet management services.

ENERGY STAR® certified, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C250iF is also designed for high-energy efficiency and stellar performance. The combination of Canon’s fusing technologies and QF toner helps lower overall energy consumption by minimizing power requirements and energy use during warm-up and standby. The MFP’s power consumption during a one-week period has been reduced when compared to its predecessor model, the imageRUNNER C1030, and while in sleep mode, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C250iF consumes as little as 1W.2
