See Roland DG’s Latest Technology at their New Product Creative Centre Open Day

Clevedon, UK - On Tuesday 23rd of February 2016 from 8am-4pm Roland DG will be holding a New Product Creative Centre Open Day; an event held at their HQ in Clevedon where, for the first time, you will be able to see the newly launched VersaUV LEF-300, SOLJET EJ-640 and Texart RT-640; learn about the innovative products including new accompanying RIP software and see profit-driving demonstrations. 

Within the new product line up on display there will be something to capture the imagination of anyone in the business of print:

  • The LEF-300 desktop UV flatbed printer; the latest, largest and fastest printer from the successful VersaUV LEF desktop series, the LEF-300 benefits from a host of new features that make customisation on an industrial level easier and more profitable than ever. A large 770 x 330mm vacuum flatbed table for speedy object positioning and dual LED lamps for super-fast printing, the LEF-300 can be used to personalise virtually any item or substrate.
  • Roland DG's latest addition to their Texart range of sublimation technology is the XT-640. With a print speed of up to 63m2/h and a wide colour gamut including Orange and Violet Texart inks; the XT-640 delivers outstanding productivity, exceptional print quality and renowned reliability.
  • Roland DG's latest SOLJET printer; the EJ-640 uses new EJ Ink supplied in 1ltr ink cartridges developed specifically for use with the EJ-640 to deliver economical running costs below £1 per m/sq. Available in either dual CMYK or CMYKLcLmLk configurations, the EJ-640 is a true high-production printer able to produce stunning quality graphics as stunning speeds.
  • Finally Print Product Manager, Mark Elvidge will be on hand to demonstrate the workflow advantages of our powerful new VersaWorks Dual RIP software which features both postscript and PDF RIP engines for superior file rendering and spot colour generation tools for quick and easy printing of white and gloss files. For Mac OSX users, Mark will also be demonstrating Rolandprintstudio, an exciting RIP and print management software for Roland DG machines.

Roland DG’s expert Business Managers will be on hand to take you through the new products, in addition to the wider range of Roland DG technology on show. Roland's creative team will be giving demonstrations and tips on file creation through the Roland DG Academy VersaUV LEF Digital Print course. Alongside, there will be the opportunity to experience the RolandCare support centre and the Roland DG Care team will be offering advice on machine maintenance and management. 

Visitors will be able to explore the Creative Centre; the inspirational hub of Roland DG UK, with a distinctive collection of creative works from top Roland artists and craftsmen from around the world on display. The list of samples is vast, with everything on display created using Roland DG technology - from surfboards, beer pumps, guitar wraps and mini motorcycles to custom-printed suits, Russian dolls and arcade machine wraps we have it all.
