Murfreesboro, NC. - Chowan University invites applications for tenure-track position for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Graphic Communications to begin August 2016. The ideal candidate will be able to teach and advise at all levels of an undergraduate curriculum; introduction to graphic communications, basic and advanced color theory, video editing, and web design.  A Master's degree is required in Graphic Communications or in a closely associated field; a Doctorate is preferred. The committee will give preference to applicants with professional and teaching experience. General awareness of current issues/trends in printing technology, packaging, and the demands of the professional field and the tools, technologies and resources inherent to the discipline, as well as being able to contribute through service to the Communication Arts program.

Include a cover letter expressing specific areas of teaching expertise (including salary requirements), transcripts, curriculum vitae, and contact information for three references is required.
