Suwanee, GA - Three veterans of the printing industry announce the formation of a new company created with a true customer focus at the forefront. Co-founded and launched by Dave Cich, Jim Case and Jim Peterson, Vanguard Digital Printing Systems is a continuation of the business principles they created at CET Color: build an adaptable, affordable, upgradeable printer backed by exceptional national service, while always striving to make the ownership experience for the customer positive and profitable.

Vanguard will have a hands-on management approach, a deep understanding of what is truly important to the customer, and the knowledge and experience to deliver an effective solution.  

The flagship product in the Vanguard portfolio is the VR5D flatbed UV inkjet digital printer. The VR5D utilizes a CMYK plus white ink system with the latest Ricoh Gen 5 print heads and proprietary BandGUARD ^tm technology. BandGUARD ^tm Technology utilizes a symmetrical print head alignment (ymck-kcmy) to all but eliminate bi-directional banding. The VR5D can also be upgraded at customer sites with more print heads for increased speed and productivity. The flatbed is designed to accommodate a full range of rigid media to 49” x 99”, up to 4” thick, and comes standard with CureGUARD ^tm LED lights for adjustable curing to the most heat sensitive of substrates and StaticGUARD ^tm control for PVC and acrylics that hold a charge. 

After years of building and delivering UV printers that have allowed their customers tremendous success and profitability, Jim, Dave and Jim saw an opportunity to improve upon what they started by creating a company that unapologetically brings to the marketplace an unprecedented customer focused philosophy with a uniquely innovative printer design.
