Thirty-year veteran to lead nearly century-old company 

GASTONIA, NC – On Monday, executives of ImageMark Business Services Inc., a customized content marketing and print company located in Gastonia, announced the appointment of Karen Kaufman as company president.

“ImageMark is fortunate to have a visionary leader like Karen serve as president,” said Walter Payne,chief executive officer of ImageMark. “She has been an integral member of our team since 2006. Karen has extensive experience in all facets of the business, is savvy and poised to lead this company into the future.”

Effective immediately, Kaufman will assume responsibility for the direction of the company as it creates solutions for clients in various industries including health care, automotive aftermarket and higher education. The nearly century-old company specializes in store fronts, fulfillment, printing services, direct mail and web services.

With more than 30 years of experience, Kaufman has been instrumental in the acquisition of several businesses and coordinated multiple facility moves and upgrades. In addition, she continues to develop new business opportunities while working alongside operations managers to bring the latest technology to clients. Before assuming the role as president, Kaufman was executive vice president for seven years and director of business development for two years.  

Kaufman graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in graphic communications.
