Breakout sessions on shop owners as sales people or shop owners as sales managers will follow prior to the One Minute Mastermind Luncheon sponsored by Printers Plan.

The afternoon will feature two breakout sessions: Sales Prospecting and Sales Follow Up presented by Wendy Weiss and Wanda Allen. There will be no formal dinner.

Saturday, FastSigns will sponsor an opening Industry Breakfast followed by a presentation by John Foley. Next will be “Mobile Mary Talks Tech” by Mary Barnett followed by a Table Topics lunch sponsored by Xerox. After lunch will be sessions on the latest NPOA Pricing Study and on Printer Profitability. The day will end with a wrap-up reception Sponsored by Discount Labels.

Relying on the expertise of printers to understand what fellow printers want to learn, the NPOA board of directors appointed two long-time printers to chair the 2016 conference: Charlene Sims, owner of The Master’s Press in Dallas, TX, and Bob Stor, President and COO of Copycats in New York City. Rounding out the committee is vendor member, Dave Hultin, president of Marketing Ideas For Printers.

“I love conferences and the opportunity to learn from every single person I talk to. I never know what I will hear and learn; it makes it exciting to see what I can come home with and apply to my business,” says Sims.

Stor adds: “Attending the NPOA conferences re-energizes me. I am exposed to new viewpoints from the speakers and I get to spend time with people who understand my concerns and the business choices that I have to navigate daily."

Early bird registration is $445 for NPOA members and $550 for non-members. Regular registration is $525 for members and $650 for non-members. There are discounted rates for attendees from the same company. Special conference hotel rates at the Contessa are $189 per night. More details and registration information is available at the NPOA website, www.printowners.org.
