Press release from the issuing company

Topeka, Kansas -- The Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) invites companies in the finishing, printing, folding carton, greeting card and binding industries to Go for the Gold in the 23rd Annual FSEA Gold Leaf Awards Competition – an exciting assembly of color, dimension and eye-catching effects representing the most exquisite works throughout the graphic arts industry.

“Extraordinary pieces continue to pour in each year from around the world, reaffirming the perceived value that print enhancements have on the finished product,” stated FSEA Executive Director Jeff Peterson. “New technologies continue to grow as well, sparking new categories in areas such as cold foil transfer, digital UV inkjet and other specialty UV coatings.”

Entries will be judged on design, execution and level of difficulty in over 25 different categories, with a gold, silver and bronze award presented in each category. A “Best of Show” award will be selected from among all of the Gold Award winners. All winners will be announced at the Awards Reception during the 2016 FSEA National Conference, Orlando, Florida, April 3-5, 2016. Competition winners also will be highlighted in promotional campaigns, PostPress magazine and other trade publications, on the FSEA website and at industry events throughout 2016.
