Sandy Alexander’s Salt Studios and MCT/Liquid Join Forces

Press release from the issuing company

Expanding Premedia Services from New York to Hong Kong

Clifton, NJ – Sandy Alexander, a leader in integrated multi-channel communications solutions headquartered in Clifton, NJ announced that Salt Studios and MCT/Liquid joined forces effective January 1, 2016. Salt Studios is the Sandy Alexander visual media production boutique located in New York City. With MCT/Liquid employees combining their talents with the current Salt team, customers will benefit from expanded capabilities and increased capacity, including access to full-service studios located in New York and Hong Kong.

Sandy Alexander President and CEO Michael Graff stated, “We’re very excited to be working together with Jim Roggio and Roland Colombo who have been the dedicated leaders of MCT/Liquid for the past 10 years. Its great news for all of us.” Graff continued, “We’re a stronger company together, with a growing base of manufacturing capabilities and services that now extend to Hong Kong.”

Jim Roggio, Managing Partner of MCT/Liquid founded the company in April of 1990 and has worked with Roland Colombo, Director of Operations, since March of 2002. Roggio and Colombo will continue providing their customers with the same unsurpassed quality under the Salt brand – Jim Roggio as Vice President – Sales and Business Development and Roland Colombo as Production Manager responsible for servicing accounts, managing the Hong Kong team, and supporting the development of new business.

Roggio noted, “We knew that Sandy Alexander was a perfect fit for us so it was an easy decision to join forces. We have a shared vision of where CGI is headed. Brand color consistency, cost effectiveness, speed to market, and image animation are only a few of the benefits of this technology.” Roggio added, “The day before a holiday a client came to us needing a revision to the image of their product label and we were able to accommodate their short time frame. In the CG world, we pulled up the image and made the changes, with faster turnaround and lower cost than hiring a photographer, setting up a shoot, re-photographing the product, and retouching the image. CGI gives us the freedom to reuse an image and even to animate it if needed.”

Salt Studios welcomes customers and prospective customers to call to schedule a tour of the studio. An open house is planned for early this year.
