Press release from the issuing company

June 14, 2004 -- HumanEyes, a leading innovator and provider of advanced and affordable lenticular solutions using existing equipment and real photography; today reports a successful graphic arts industry debut at drupa. In addition to drawing standing room only crowds at partner stands, HumanEyes partners reported positive sales results and feedback attributed to HumanEyes 3D technology demonstrations. HumanEyes teamed with leading companies including KBA, Hewlett Packard, Inca, Zünd and Deutscher Drucker to present demonstrations and samples of its unique, easy-to-use mainstream 3D software technology. Highlights • The company estimates that 1 in 5 of the 394,000+ total attendees at drupa received a 3D sample printout produced using HumanEyes 3D technology. • Company executives and board members including: Benny Landa, Yoav Chelouche and Gideon Ben-Zvi were on hand for a special morning reception for journalists on Saturday, May 8. "This was HumanEyes' first drupa and the response to our official, international debut exceeded our expectations. People were genuinely surprised and excited by HumanEyes’ mainstream 3D capabilities. Our presence at drupa delivered solid sales leads and generated numerous high-level discussions with top dealers, distributors, and new prospective partners," says Ben-Zvi. • In fact, drupa also marked the official expansion of HumanEyes’ North American activities with the appointment of Daniel (Dani) Herzka as Vice President, Strategic Alliances and Partnerships. Herzka was appointed to assist the company in the launch of its novel 3D imaging solutions in the North American market. "We are pleased to have Dani Herzka on the HumanEyes team. Dani possesses keen insight into the imaging and publishing industries, combined with a proven marketing and business management track record that we know will be an asset to HumanEyes," says Ben-Zvi. Milestones at the show: HumanEyes & KBA KBA & HumanEyes signed a joint venture and distribution agreement during the HumanEyes press briefing held May 8 at the KBA stand. Expanded Live Demo Schedule – To accommodate overwhelming response by attendees, HumanEyes and KBA increased the number of live demos at the KBA stand. 3D capabilities were showcased on Litho3D Karat software, which optimizes HumanEyes’ core 3D technology for efficient, high quality KBA Karat output. KBA reports positive sales including one of the first sales at drupa for the North American market (Color K Graphics, a full-service commercial and packaging printer based in Miami, Florida, which purchased a 74 Karat digital offset press with coater). HumanEyes & Hewlett Packard Visitors to Hewlett Packard booth were impressed with the added value of combined HumanEyes and HP Indigo press s2000. Hewlett Packard's Riki Tzirin, Industrial Marketing Manager, says HumanEyes 3D software showed some of the best capabilities of the 6-color HP Indigo press s2000. "It was a very pleasant surprise for drupa visitors, as well as our existing s2000 users, to see that with HumanEyes software platform and our HP Indigo press s2000, it's as if they have acquired an additional piece of equipment," Tzirin says. "HumanEyes opens up an entirely new world of possibilities for our customers, and proves that Hewlett Packard's short run color devices can output what was previously the province of only the most complex, dedicated devices." Inca Inca Digital Printers and HumanEyes together demonstrated the ability to print 3D directly onto thicker substrates for wide format applications, successfully conducting on demand demonstrations of its software and then printing 3D samples on Inca’s new Spyder 150 flatbed printer. HumanEyes also presented at the Inca Users Group meeting during drupa. "Having the Human Eyes demonstrations created a lot of interest printing with Spyder on our stand at drupa. Their 3D photographic technology allows marketers a lot of added value in their promotional activity as well as allowing printers to offer an added value sales option. Lenticular printing and flatbeds go well together, taking away much of the difficulty usually associated with the production of lenticular images," says Heather Kendle, Director of Marketing, Inca Digital Printers. Zünd HumanEyes and Zünd, a pioneer and market leader in high precision flatbed printing, joined together to showcase easy-to-use, high quality 3D output on the Zünd UVjet XY-Flat flatbed printer. Due to the overwhelming interest of Zünd 's customers, Zund decided to increase the number of live demos from 2 per day to continuous online demonstrations for the duration of the show. HumanEyes and Zünd printed on thick lenses and succeeded for the first time in printing directly on a 62 lpi lens, which is a lens designed for high resolution offset printing. According to Lars Bendixen, Product Manager Zünd Systemtechnik AG, "Zünd and HumanEyes were able to successfully produce outstanding results demonstrating the powerful capabilities of our combined flatbed printer and 3D solutions at drupa. The continuous crowds of potential customers were excited by our universal solution for all lenticular applications." Distributors HumanEyes sales staff held several meetings with potential distributors throughout drupa and is continuing to sign agreements for distribution of the HumanEyes 3D software across the globe.
