New Office in Gurgaon Underscores Investment in Innovation

GURGAON, India - Pitney Bowes Inc., a global technology company providing products and solutions to power commerce, has opened a 6,331-square-foot office in the Time Tower Building in Gurgaon, India. President and Chief Executive Officer Marc Lautenbach and a team of Pitney Bowes employees officially opened the doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Pitney Bowes focuses on helping clients harness the increasingly convergent physical and digital technologies that power commerce. More than 1,100 innovation team members globally have completed training in the areas of Data Science, Big Data, Cloud, Mobile, and API management. Pitney Bowes innovators work closely with technology partners and clients on open platforms to develop solutions that drive successful business outcomes.

“Collaboration on open platforms with our clients and partners has greatly increased our ability to bring physical and digital solutions to market,” said Manish Choudhary, Senior Vice President of Global Engineering and Managing Director, Pitney Bowes India Operations. “This will be our eighth office in India and these investments will help us provide more client value and client-focused innovation to key markets.”

Asia’s Best Employer recently awarded Mr. Choudhary with the prestigious Excellence in Leadership Award, which especially recognizes high levels of employee trust and engagement.

During 2015, the Great Place to Work Institute named Pitney Bowes among the Top 5 Tech Companies to Work for in India. The company also earned special recognition as Best Company for Supporting Women to Remain at Work, and Best Initiative for Talent.
