Canon Empowers Businesses with Entry Level Large Format Scan-to-Copy/File Systems

Press release from the issuing company

Having the tools to grow your business is essential in today’s economic climate. Canon Canada Inc., a leader in digital imaging, today announced an industry benchmark by offering two affordable large format scan-to-copy/file systems, the imagePROGRAF iPF770 MFP L36 and the imagePROGRAF iPF670 MFP L24. This new series of economically priced, user-friendly Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) require a minimal learning curve and offer intuitive software solutions. The new L-series complements the current iPF MFP imaging systems which provide more advanced functionality for higher volume scanning and editing capabilities.

Designed for workplaces where space is at a premium, both models feature a lightweight, compact design with a minimal office footprint. Equipped with a 36-inch scanner and printer, and requiring little to no user experience, the imagePROGRAF iPF770 MFP L36 MFP is a reliable  large format copying solution for low volume architecture, engineering and contracting businesses. Equally as straightforward as its larger counterpart, the imagePROGRAF iPF670 MFP L24 MFP features a 24-inch scanner and printer to provide small businesses and educators with the tools to easily scan, copy and print documents.

Simplified User Experience
The economically priced L-series solutions feature imagePROGRAF printers with five-colour dye/pigment ink with a Sub-Ink Tank System and top media loading system. Featuring a simple, integrated control panel, the new L-series scanner provides an intuitive scan-to-copy interface, allowing users to operate the scanner with the push of a button. The scanners also include SingleSensor Technology* for more consistent, accurate colour replication.

With scan modes ranging from Draft to Best, the scanners allow users to easily regulate image quality. Additionally, both models feature a selection of commonly used print features including the cost savings Economy Print Mode and the ability to auto crop borders while also allowing users to control the number of copies and adjust brightness and exposure as desired. These systems also include software solutions such as PosterArtist Lite, Direct Print & Share1, Print Plug-in for Microsoft Office® and the imagePROGRAF Print Utility App2.

Availability
These new imagePROGRAF devices are available now to order for a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $7,795 for the imagePROGRAF iPF770 MFP L36 and an MSRP of $5,395 for the imagePROGRAF iPF670 MFP L24. These systems will be available to ship later this quarter.**
