Masterwork Celebrates 20 Years at Headquarters in China

Press release from the issuing company

The new Masterwork MK1060ERSL automatic platen die-cutting machine was the centerpiece attraction

In late October, Masterwork, a leading finishing manufacturer supplier of folding carton and packaging equipment headquartered in Tianjin, China, invited customers and corporate partners to its headquarters to mark its 20th milestone anniversary. More than 40 customers from 11 countries were represented at the fete to celebrate the rapid growth of the company throughout the world.

Masterwork executives greeted guests at its sprawling facility in Tianjin, the fourth largest city in China and a major port. During the celebration, attendees took guided tours of the Masterwork factory and showroom and listened attentively to equipment presentations and participated in group discussions. In his opening remarks, Masterwork’s general manager welcomed everyone and thanked them for their support from the firm’s inception in 1995 through its rapid growth in two decades to becoming the world’s leading supplier of printing and packaging equipment and services. He noted that Masterwork’s equipment has improved production and quality for its users, while saving manpower, increased production efficiency, and delivered additional profit growth.

The centerpiece attraction during the celebration was the new more fully-featured MK1060ERSL automatic platen die-cutting machine. This new model offers even more features than the popular MK1060ERS, an automatic platen die cutting machine with stripping and blanking capabilities. The newly launched MK1060ERSL provides an electronic chaise loader on the top of the machine, vacuum belts on the feed table, a sample checking device at the waste removal section allowing an operator to check a complete sheet, and a target speed of 8,000 sheets per hour.

In the afternoon following a tour and panel discussion, attendees were divided into smaller groups led by Masterwork staff where they discussed a variety of topics, from Masterwork’s on-site equipment to operation questions.  A theme throughout the discussions was customer praise for Masterwork’s high-quality, rapid production equipment.

The celebration ended on a  high note, praising the firm for its rapid leadership role in the printing and packaging industry and looking ahead at future development in which the firm has plans to create even more modern, intelligent, high-end equipment in which the internet and networking technology will play an ever-increasing role. It’s an exciting time for Masterwork as it celebrates its 20th year in business and looks forward to be announcing further additions to its product line during 2016.
