Print Industry Veteran Joins PressWise To Lead Product Innovation Initiatives

AGOURA HILLS, CA - SmartSoft Inc., a leading provider of print MIS & workflow management software for the print and mailing industry, is pleased to announce that Joseph Lehn has joined the company as Director of Product Management for the PressWise end-to-end print MIS and workflow automation platform.

Joe will oversee the product roadmap, development and support of PressWise, and joins SmartSoft from EFI’s Pace group, where he spent the past 11 years working in various capacities, most recently as the senior Product Manager for the Pace MIS System. A 23-year veteran of the print industry, Joe began his career with 12 years as an Estimator in two different print plants, before making the transition into print management software, a move made after spending a significant amount of time implementing a new MIS system for the print shop where he was working at the time.

"Joe’s knowledge and talents will be invaluable to the PressWise team as we continue to grow our business and influence within the print industry”, said SmartSoft COO, Tony Tarpey.  “His experience on both sides of the customer-vendor relationship gives him unique insight into what makes for a successful software implementation. When he saw the PressWise product he was blown away with how innovative it was, the way that it handled jobs and helped push them through the shop with minimal touches, and immediately saw the opportunities for further growth and innovation that would not only benefit current customers, but the wider print community. He is excited by the possibilities and we are thrilled to have him on the team.”
